Exciting! I see what you mean about Image 4 (Wratten 12 + Cokin
graduated blue), but I personally would rather get maximum color range
with the Wratten 12 alone and do any further manipulation in
Photoshop. Just a question of how one likes to work.
If It's possible--and if the digitized versions will show the
difference--I'd love to see a comparison of the EI 200 with the -1/2
stop version of the same subject. Of course it's normally possible to
scan darker to simulate a half-stop less exposure when you go from a
full-range slide to the limitations (usually, 24-bit) of a scan, but
that shouldn't work for EIR because of the color shifts attendant on
exposure changes--at least with the old film.
