Anybody help with this IR filter?

Hi all,

Just bought a 18mm lens for the canon EOS600 (lovely) which has 72mm
filter thread so my filter won't fit, so tried 89B gel behind shutter
but have had so many problems with hair shadows and dust on every neg
that I feel I must resume the front filter approach, shame really, I
loved had holding the camera....

Willem, I'm sure you're reading this, you mentioned in an earlier post
about polyester foil filters for behind the shutter. Could you supply
some more details. Do you have an 89B perhaps?

Other than that I'm looking for a screw on filter 89B, R72 type but
with a thread 72mm.

I could hold a square filter in front of the lens before pressing the
shutter but, well, you know.......
