Be more careful. <g> Seriously, this film is thin with major
difficulties when it comes to getting the curl out. You just have to
deal with it. If you decide to move to 4X5, IR film will pose even more
of a problem loading the holders.

It is impossible to say, as it depends upon what you are trying to do.
You'll just need to make contact sheets, make a few prints, then when
you get what you want look carefully back at the negative. I've got
some absolutely horrid negatives that print perfectly for the effect I
was after (look at House Of Dreams I in the North Wing of my Web page).
HIE is such a versatile film that you should do a lot of playing around
to determine the extent of what it can do. Then you can decide what
works for you.
Getting a black sky (like House Of Dreams III on that same page) is more
a matter of having the right sky. You'll need one where the sky is nice
and deep blue (often found to your left and right sides when you're
facing the sun). Thin white clouds are no help.
