Not really.  IR defraction is greater than the visible spectrum, but if
you are working with pinhole that is less of a matter.

I've been doing IR pinhole for a while now, though I've been enjoying
the use of HSI - the 4X5 format.  Images can be seen in the Southwest
Wing of my Web page.
