Unluckyly he does not mention pinhole cameras in this edition, not even
in the chapter about UV photography (maybe he mentions pinholes as an
alternative to expensive lenses). BTW with normal photographic material
(siverhalogenid in gelatine) there is a limit at about 220 nm because
of the absorbtion of UV in gelatine.
If someone is interested in mathematics behind pinhole cameras I can
take a look at a book about lens design (Kurt Michel, Das Photografische
Objektiv, Springer Verlag, 1955).
