No Konica IR750-120 in Canada?!?!

Well, I've been to two major dealers in Toronto and both gave me the same
story.  There will be no Konica IR750-120 in Canada this year.  The reasons
given:

- -apparently Konica Canada screwed up there order to Konica Japan (gave it
too late or some such reason)
- -Konica Japan didn't anticipate demand and production was limited

Has anybody experienced the same situation in the States?
