I called Sylvania once while looking for UV tubes. I was told that ALL of
the tubes put out the same spectrum, but they did have different color
temperatures!!! 

Whereas such an effect is possible, it seems pretty darn improbable in
this case.  I'd need to see some pretty convincing evidence to believe it.

Not if it allows for greater developer activity, as the person who posted
this said.
