Joe,

I've used a couple of Rollei 35's in the past, and never noticed any
unwanted contributions from the pressure plate. I have also wanted a smaller
35mm camera for IR, and am considering an older Minox GT or GTE. I understand
that the plastic cases on the GT are opaque at the longer wavelengths, but
have no idea how I would purchase/modify/build a filter for a GT. I seem
to recall that the camera will not close with a filter. I had judged
the Minox to be sharper than XA, but that was my personal opinion.
Does anybody have any definitive information on Minox (35mm) and IR??

I'm new to the list, so my meager background:
I am currently using a 75mm box, with a .016" pinhole with Kodak 4x5 IR,
and am planning on lugging this 'camera' around the south-west this August.
I only shoot a few times a year, and shoot more landscapes/objects than people.
Before shooting IR/pinhole, I shot quite a bit of Stereo slides with twin
slr's. I obviously currently prefer making images with IR (and pinhole)
to stereo slide imagary.
