Nope, at least not only; Aerographic IR 2424 is either 70mm or 9.5".
(I lately saw some notes on 5" NATO spools, hope to get some stock
codes for this one too).

35mm bulk is still called Highspeed Infrared AFAIK, with the
following spec's:

35mm x 150ft 417 169 4149

I believe '417' tells something about the (sprocket) configuration,
right? Or only length? Should match some other Kodak 35mm bulk
emulsion....it is somehow quite familiar....anyone have a Kodak
stock list at hand?
A different sprocket configuration should follow from this number, by
not matching other 35mm bulk emulsions in that case.

2424 is indeed the same emulsion (not sure about thickness).

> Infrared sentitivity the same?

Yep. I have Kodak literature showing the same plot.
Same goes for Aerochrome IR in 70mm and 9.5" perforated, for both the
old emulsion (still available AFAIK, for those industries relying on
consistency) and the new emulsion (there are even two slightly
different emulsions in those sizes according to the Kodak site).

Btw, on my homepage I have an overview of all IR-emulsions and
formats, see URL in the footer below.

I doubt it, and certainly not for reasons of scaring off customers
who want to save some bucks....otherwise they should have done that
with all bulk emulsions.

What do you mean with more choices? Formats?
