Are you sure it lacks IR-refocus? No red dot on the distance scale,
*and* no referring in the manual to a certain aperture/DOF setting as
a replacement indicator?
Not even the Leica 180/2.8 is good enough....hardly any non-APO lens
is actually, and many APO's even cheap out on including the IR-spectrum.
The use of ED, fluorite, APO or whatever is definately *no* guarantee
for a perfect IR-focus....simply because there is no real definition
of performance in this field....
