According to some OLD Kodak literature I have somewhere, the 
effective speed of aero films is determined a bit differently than 
normal ISO speeds.  This may well be where the difference comes from.
Also, even with filtering, there is probably enough atmospheric
haze to affect the deepest shadows.  This could easily result
in a bit higher effective rating.
