I can't argue with these reasons. In fact, what you are saying is exactly
what makes this interesting to me. Who knows, one of you may be really
famous some day, and I might actually have one of your originals. The
only reason that I see for allowing RC prints is that this is probably the
most commonly used paper type. Requiring archivally processed fiber based
prints is probably a good idea, and I have no problem with that. I'll
just have to buy a box of fiber paper, and get used to it. Been meaning
to do that anyway. (Anyone have much experience with Ilfords new
Multi-Grade fiber based paper?)
I'd even be willing to contribute a carbon/pigment print if I can ever get
the process fine tuned <grin>. That would be a print that would not be
the same as a scanned computer file. You'd lose the 3 dimensional relief
in the scan.
