Very embarassed about being too lazy to check that the 'nano-' prefix means
billionth rather than millionth. (A UK billion being one thousand million,
not sure about US).

Now, if one were to suspend the red object 500 billionths of a metre away
from the retina ... Forgive me, you must have more important things to talk
about. It's just that I'm not quite at the chopping up film in the dark
whilst jamming filters between the rails stage yet.
