I loaded and unloaded my first couple of rolls of HIE in a synthetic
fiber changing bag, and found that the bag actually leaked IR! I switched
to a natural fiber changing bag and have had no further problems. Using
the changing bag in the field can be a little awkward - I'm embarassed to
admit that I did put my finger through the shutter of the camera,
fortunately
without causing permanent damage - but it beats missing shots due to lack of
a dark room.
