I would dare say that most aerial IR is shot in stereo pairs which can =
be viewed in 3D with special viewers.  I plan to shoot some EIR in a =
couple days and hope to end up with stereo pairs.  Stereo pairs are =
required  to make maps with elevation information from aerial =
photographs.  I doubt that aerial 3D is as interesting as the "Beneath =
the Sea" book but I have seen some aerial photos that are a lot of fun =
to look at.  I took some stereo pairs of my university stadium which =
made you feel like you where looking at a little 3D model of the =
stadium.  You don't need a special camera to take steroscopic =
photographs; you can use the one camera and take a photo from two =
different (and appropriate) views, of course your subject can't be on =
the move using this technique.
