There is no such thing as 70mm film for cine-photography purposes. That
is, no 70mm film EVER goes through a motion-picture camera. 70mm is a
release print format, for projection. It gives 5mm more film to put
soundtracks and reel synchronization signals on. No 65mm film EVER goes
through a motion-picture projector.
A corrolary might be that 4x5 film is used for original photography, and
4x6 are used for prints. But there is no such thing as a modern 4x6
camera (please don't research the history of photography and tell me
that in 1887 someone in France built a 4x6 camere, I'm sure someone
did). I'm talking about common modern sizes.
