RE: Konica exposure with 29

Yes I can clear up the confusion. George's recomendation is most likely with
a incident hand held meter. Hannu's is with through the lens metering with
the filter in place. Deep red filters can vastly distort the accurarcy of
TTL metering depending on the spectural response of the particular camera's
meter. What is someones recomendation for a Nikon , may not be accurate for a
Canon, or even another style of Nikon. The film data sheets suggests an EI
{exposure index} of 12 with this film. that would give you an exposure of
F16@x/12second in bright daylight. Therefore my recomendation of F16 at 1/15s
with a bracket of F16@x/8s to cover for the maxium of when in doubt with
negative film, overexpose. And with infrared your always in doubt.

George says EI 8; Hannu says EI 100 !!!??? No wonder IR photography is
confusing!!

As I recall, the Konica's rated speed is 12. So I can't mathematically
come up with these EIs, unless they rate it at 12 assuming the 3-stop
filter is attached, then 100 works.

Can anybody un-confuse me??

Thanks
