I have used Broncolor studio lamps in both flash (with the old E-4 film)
and tungsten mode for IR in 35 mm and 4x5. The lamps were UV absorbtion
coated and, IMHO, should no/did not contribute to any absorbtion of the
wavelengths to which IR film is sensitive.
