- - How did you find out about this list: From W.J.Markerinks' homepage

- - Expand on anything photographic you like:

I love the ability of photography to freeze a moment in time which is not
normally noticeable to the naked eye.

You ever noticed how different a scene look in real life, how drab it was,
until you developed the print and it hits you, HEY! it didn't look that
great....

That is the power and the beauty of photography.

Anyways I've always wanted to try all kinds of film, and what really got me
started on HIE was the work of one Theo Westenberger.

That woman, I swear, is close to God himself in her vision. I love her
work especially "Bellagio".

It was a landscape shot done with HIE and then she hand-painted it and made
it transcend *at least for me* all mortal conceptions of 'ethereal beauty'.
I really love this art-form, and I do intend to pursue it, for all that I
am worth.

Theo Westenberger is solely responsible for exposing me to this new form of
photography which I like/love so much.

I'd like to thank her for expanding my horizons :)
