Hi Larry,
The rotary tube processors do a beautifull job with TMax/B&W film in
general. I had a jobo at my last staff position and just knocked of a
minute from my processing times with ID11 1-1 dilution, your times will
vary from manufacturers listed times (shorter with constant agitation).
Allways go with a pre-wash before the developer because of the way you
pour the chemistry through the lid! A 2-3 minute pre-wash worked for us
(watch all that crappy magenta dye when you pour out the
pre-wash.....yuk). And yes, the pre-wash did help getting rid of the
residual (infamous) magenta dye, a good 5 minute fix did not hurt.
