A bit too expensive IMO....I have seen them go for around US$200-300
in Europe, never for anything close to US$500. But they are rare,
more rare than I thought, although even for US$200 it can be listed
for more than a year before someone reacts....
And for less money you can get a Mamiya RB 70mm back....the only
really expensive SLR 70mm back is for Rollei 600x.

This reminds me that I still have some 70mm gear taking up
space....a Kindermann loader for US$100 and a Linhof loader for
US$150.
The Linhof unit is a surplus NATO unit, still sealed in plastic;
designed for taking up to 400' bulk rolls, and loading the
cartridges, but also fit to take a Kindermann development reel
instead of a bulk roll, and then loading from cartridge onto the
reel (the core of bulk film has the same size as the center diameter
of the Kindermann SS reel!)
The Kindermann loader has been saved from the recent Fokker Aircraft
bankruptcy, a nice historical touch (no Fokker marks/ID's
though....you'll just have to believe me....;-)). It was designed
primarily to load development reels from cartridges, but can also be
used the other way around, bulk film onto cartridges. This particular
unit is US$50 cheaper than normally, since the 'film sqeezer' is
missing, a separate part that squeezes the film just before it runs
into the development reel, where it expands to normal width inside
the spiral of the reel. It is not an absolute must to have this part,
loading the reel without it was easy.
If anyone is interested in one of these items (I only have one
Kindermann, but several of these Linhof units), please send me a
private mail, not to the list!

Just to inspire some more people (including myself....:-)), the
Mamiya 6 and 7 rangefinders and the Mamiya 645 also allow the use of
35mm film.
And the 43mm on the Mamiya 7 is a very nice wide angle....on the 65mm
wide frame it is equivalent to a 24mm lens on a 24x36mm frame....mmm....:-))
Too bad the Fuji 6x9 GSW (65mm lens) doesn't take 35mm film....anyone
ever fabricated something to 'circumvent' the system of separate 35mm
and MF worlds?
