Re: IR filter
I have used the same information, but I use my e-6 film as a flash
filter. I haven't tried it as a lens filter yet.

I had described Andy Davidhazy's home-made IR filter to my students
in September. One of the students actually did it and did it well.
She had two sheets of E-6 unexposed chrome film processed. Then she
used the two as an IR filter. AND it worked. Her photos are quite
beautiful nudes taken on a beach in California. The class is in
NYC. She flew out to Califirnia to see a friend and she ended
up shooting many nudes. Wonderful images. Thanks Andy for the
technique for making filters. Ed Meyers
