Processed them today. D76, 10min @ 70deg. The EI of 50 seems to have been
right on. The one-stop-under negs are also quite usable. The
one-stop-over negs are rather dense, but I expect they would print with a
more ethereal feel. The panoramic format looks great too for some of my
scenes. I noticed under a loop that a few frames have the odd pin hole.
Does anyone know how these might arise? The infamous Airey lecture (and I
presume the book?) claims that acidic stop baths will do this. I use a
plain water stop, however. She also claims that skin contact (on loading
onto reels?) will cause it too (due to acidic skin oils that some folks
have). Not likely that I touched the frames where there are pin holes
though. Any ideas?
Guess I'll wait for a sunny day to see if the best EI changes as many on
the list have indicated it should.

<I have just yesterday shot a roll of HIE in a Mamiya 6MF with the 35mm
panoramic adapter. Did it at Cape Cod in lousy weather. Used an EI of 50
NTTF and a #29 red.
Will be processing next week, but I know one thing - whether the images
themselves are good or not, they will be wide.
