Securing the 87 gel

Dear Edmund --

I used that type of Scotch Brand tape.  The tape can be cut
into small pieces with scissors and can be easily removed if
you need to re-position the filter or want to remove it at a 
later time.  My 87 filter gel has been in place for three years
and has not slipped out yet!

It was positioned behind the mirror and in front of the shutter.
My wife had to help me because her hands are much smaller than
mine.  I think it would be easier to put the filter between the film
rails.  If it scratches you might be able to put some sort of spacer
over the filter.  I have used exposed photographic paper for things
like this and as a cover for the back pressure plate to prevent dimples.

Scotch Brand tape worked fine for me!
