You ought to try either Microphen diluted 1:3 or Microdol-X 1:3.
Both require the same developing time (use the Microdol numbers
for a start) though you'll get about 1/2 stop more speed with the
dilute Microphen. Ilfosol-S works well also, especially at
the higher dilution. The two Part Leica Divided Developer
also works extremely well in producing moderate contrast,
but the tendency to have lower highlight contrast might
interfere with the "infrared effect" on foliage, especially
if you overexpose. The Leica developer is good for 1/2 stop
more speed, also. The formula is widely published. Use
the originalformuila, as the carbonate second bath seems to produce
greater apparent sharpness.

The original Leica formula:

Bath A:

Sodium Sulfite (anhyd) 100gm (I usually use 50 gm for greater
                                   sharpness)
Metol 5gm
Water to: 1000ml (I normally add 2ml of 2%
                                   Benzotriazole)

Bath B:

Sodium Carbonate 15 gm
Sodium Sulfite 6 gm
Water to> 1000 ml

I've used all of these, and generally I prefer the Microdol.

Hope this helps.
