Greetings all

In the Tuesday edition of the computer section in our daily newspaper =
"The Star", was an article about one of the video companies making a =
series of handycams with IR capability.

If my rusty memory serves me right, the video has its own source for IR =
light so that the video is able to tape the "invisible scene". The same =
article gave a ball park figure of the cameras selling for $500 up to =
$1600. The same video camera is supposed to have an image stabiliser.=20

I will try and find the article and in particular the make of the afore =
mentioned handycam(s).=20

My last memory about video cameras is that they can operate with a =
minimum of 2 Candela (open for correction and flames). It would be very =
interesting to see what is on offer at the Photokina (Koln - germany) in =
September especially for IR. Umm I know I have not mentioned the PMA in =
the States, but forgive me my error, as I only have the luck of heading =
to Germany and not the States once every two years (Rand is worthless =
compared to the US$).=20
