I would think that you are wasting your time developing twice. OTOH, if this
is
something that works for you, then I would tell you to continue doing this
regardless what anyone says.
From reading the postings here for past two days it would seem I am wasting
my time. As to whether it works it seems to work only because I do a test
strip, at times when I've been lazy(with a roll I shot in Jamaica) and just
said it was ok at 8 mins came out really poor. Next roll I develop I will try
at 1:1 at 10 mins or so and see what happens.
As far as the difference in EI is concerned, you may be metering differently
or
looking for something very different. My images "House Of Dreams" and "Bosky
Bagatelle" (in the West Wing of my Web page) were shot at EI 50 as metered
through a #25 filter. For the most part, however, my images are shot at EI
250.
I will also try it at 250 and see what flies......
When I was using D76 I used it 1+1 dilution 70F 10 minutes. I know that
Kodak
suggests otherwise, but we all need to find what works for us and follow it.
