I use a changing bag.  I have used it in broad daylight.
After a few years the black rubber lining deteriorated.
I lost a roll of whale photos due to light leakage.
I held the old changing bag up to bright window light and 
saw the problem.
I got a new changing bag, so I'll use it for about five 
years before I start worrying again about light leaks.
