I guess after the discussion some time ago on the list about heat and IR
light in HIE's spectral range not being the same, I am not very surprised
at these reports.  I wouldn't expect HIE that gets warm in the dark to fog
any more or less than most B&W films.  I cooked some rolls of FX (in the
old days) and PX, Tmax, FP4, etc. on a very hot day for hours in the trunk
(boot) of a car.  They were clearly damaged and the fogging pattern was
very different than what one would expect of being light struck.  I keep my
film in a cool dark place because of that experience, but no more so for
HIE than the other stuff.
