blue flames?

Hello everyone,
My name is George Oeser, and I am just getting started seriously in
photography, hopefully by the end of this year photography will be all that
I am doing :) Anyway, lately I have been doing a series of photos using HIE
and I am absolutely loving the results, but I have a question. I may soon
be doing a photo that will involve a small flame, probably a flame coming
from alcohol which produces a faint blue flame whne viewed normally, does
anyone have any idea how this will look on HIE? Also if I light the
surrounding area with ordinary incandescent bulbs will the IR from them
wash out the flame or will it still produce enough IR to be visible? I am
using 35mm HIE with a #25 filter, any help or speculation will be greatly
appreciated.
