Thanks for your suggestions about using HIE 5*4.
I obtained an Ilford filter intended for SFX200 from the first production run. They
were available from Ilford at Focus 98, as was SFX in 120. Its possibly made
from flexible polyester sheet, 75mm square and is designed to maximise any
infrared effect with SFX. Visually it appears similar to a B&W 92 filter i.e.
extremely dark red. It was manufactured in England by Ilford ltd Mobberley
Cheshire. Unlike Wratten or Lee filters no tissue was included in the packaging,
so beware of scratch marks. It is not really possible to view the image for
focusing with the filter in place. I have used it with a Pentax 6*7 , 45mm lens,
using the spring clip behind the rear element. Why not try it !
