Try a local theatrical supplier (some costume shops also) -- ask for "Rosco
gels" -- they are used to gel (color) theater lights, and come in both a standard
and heat resistant grade. There are other brands too, but Rosco seems to be the
most prevalent. Your supplier should have a sampler (may give you one) with small
samples and charts on the wavelengths transmitted or absorbed (spectral
emission). I use a "minus green" (don't recall the number) in my homemade light
box to give a better color temp for viewing color slides. If you can't find
locally, there are a ton of suppliers on both coasts. Good luck.
