Not really necessary.  Loading in subdued light is okay.  I spoke with Kodak's
top IR guy a while back and he explained that the stated precaution was intended
for people using the film in critical applications and developing in AR-5.

Yes, but don't feel that you HAVE to stick to that filter.  Joe Paduano suggests
trying a #16 filter and a polarizer to get darker skys.

My experience has been that EI 200 will overexpose more often than be right on
or under.  I would suggest EI 250 or EI 320 and bracket (yes, it is more
expensive, but tossing what might have otherwise been a great shot is worse). 
If you are thinking of making prints, then EI 200 (or slightly slower) might
work just fine, as you will have less contrast to deal with (a problem when
going from slide to print).

Yup.  If you are doing it yourself, great.  If you are taking it to a shop to
have it done, make sure that their equipment does NOT use IR sensors.
