Hi Jason;
I still have my old Nikon EM, whihc is a wonderfull little camera. The
old Sereis-E 50mm lens was not the best in teh world, but it works fine.
Nice thing about the EM is you can use most Nikon lenses on it. If you had
to choose only one lens, I suggest a good used 35mm. My old Series E Nikon
35mm is actually quite good. I've used the EM for lots of HIE shots, never
a problem. Most older used Nikons should do you just fine.
