Lee Lighting Gels

Does anyone have experience using Lee gels as filters?  Which ones work well
and which ones don't?  The Silver Print catalog only has vague names for the
colours like "Straw" and "Primary Red".  

Also, if there are any other brand gels that you've had good luck with, it
would be appreciated.
