Given that Lee filters are resin and expensive I would not use them for 
lights. Most of what I have seen from Lee is perhaps 4x4 at best and to 
cover lights one needs much bigger sheets. Yes it would be ok for a small 
flash. Rosco makes stage lighting filters and you should be able to get a 
sample book at a store such as Hollywood Lights in Portland Oregon.
