Guess I will hop in and talk about myself too,
I have never had a photo class, but have done quite a bit of photography,
from pet portraits to fine art work using IR. Most of the stuff I am doing
now involves using HIE in either my Nikon EM of FG to do shots of people in
pain. I have made photos of a person with her lips sewn shut, a guy with 15
needles stuck in him in a line running from his collar bone to his hip
bone, another of a man, nude, wrapped up in 2" wide clear package sealing
tape, and recently did a shot of another man, also nude wound up in barbed
wire. I love HIE for this kind of work, the skin tones look beautiful, the
grain really adds to the image, and the fairly, to extreme high contrast of
the prints is lovely.
I also work with some rather odd cameras and formats, I am a huge fan of
Minox submini cameras, and also use quite a bit of 110. I have shot many
rolls in a my Holga and Lubitel as well and am always surprised at what I
get out of them. Soon I will probably pull out the old Nishika 3D camera I
have and see what I can get out of it.
I do have a web page (see my sig) but none of my IR photos are on it, my
scanner is really lousey and I am almost embarased to put the scans of my
stuff up, hopefully I will have something presentable soon though.
