I keep my film within the original container. I do have some loose rolls that
I've put into zip lock bags, but mostly it's just the cannisters. I have taken
numerous rolls out of the freezer, not used them, and returned them to the
freezer. No problem. Just make sure that the film is "room temperature" before
opening the cannister and you'll be fine.
