HIE DEVELOPMENT. tREBLES...

My Name is Renan Cepeda, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I made a fashion set photographies to ELLE magazine with Ektachrome
infrared and HIE films. No problem with color IR. But I had trebles with
the HIE development, because Kodak indicates D-76 stock,20 celcius, 8.5
minutes and the film come sub-developed. I am shure was as this because
the track of numbers was light gray. But how I bracketed more than 1
stop high and used a  Ilford multigrade paper on enlarging (filter 5), I
saved all work. I think the right developing time to D-76 stock in 20
Celcius is 11 minutes. So, please, bring this information to our
colleges in your coutry.
