I've used EIR for the first time and I like it very much.
I exposed it ISO 250/25 using TTL-metering (Canon EOS 600) but I think
its better to expose EIR at ISO 320/26, at least with my equipment.
The filter I used was a KR12 (color correction filter for exposing
tungsten film at daylight) but this resulted in dull bright sky. Adding
a polarizer to this filter was fine, blue sky and white clouds. I've
also used a Heliopan Video 103 filter for cutting down IR, and this
filter gave an 'moonlight' effect which one can see in many movies
(dark blue rendering of the scene).
The flesh tone EIR gave with a KR12 filter is yellowish and veins
are much more visable. I've also noticed that my black trousers
are rendered red because of high IR-reflection, some red cars
turned into a disgusting orange.
BTW: I've also shot some night scenes, they are also nice. The
light of the high pressure sodium lights is blue on EIR and the
backlights of the cars are yellow. If you are interested in land-
scape photography at full moon try f/3,5 at 1 hour exposure time,
unluckyly I haven't included vegetation in this shot.
