just experimenting with different things with my camera

- - Preferred subjects: all kinds especially B&W on human subjects

- - Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry):All kinds, me current
favorite the 3200 ISO film from Kodak

- - Format 35mm

- - How did you find out about this list:
I read a lot about infrared last november and december but first
noticed the mailing list after starting to look for more knowledge on
the net just recently

Hey all and thanks for the list
For know I have been reading a lot on infrared photography, but have
not started shooting. I own a EOS50E (which for what Iread should
work and only fogs the 4% of the film) I just bought the 93 filter
from B+W (wratten87C) I do not know if thi filter is a good filter to
start with. I am planning on starting with Kodak infrared film for
my first test. I am not sure if it true that I should rate it 10 ISO
(I have seen this some places adviced).
Any suggestion one the ratings, good subjects to start the first tryout
with, suggestions about bracketing and metering would be great.
Then there is developing I have seen D-76, HC-110, D19, TMAX and recently
Kodak XTOL.
I was going to start with the D-19 because of the max contrast it is
supposed to give. But the photodealer I spoke to could not
provide my with it.
Any suggestion on good developer to start with would be great

Thanks
