Hello IR List,

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

- - Name:	DC Belanger

- - Profession/Study:	Freelance Photographer.
Studying for a Masters Degree in Art.

- - Country: USA

- - Personal history of photography: I started photography about five
years ago and find it to be a terrific means for expressing my
creative side. I enjoy infrared B&W and color photography as
well as B&W solarization and handtinting B&W prints.

- - Preferred subjects: Portraits and scenics.

- - Materials (film, filters, paper, chemistry): Mostly Kodak films and
chemistry. I enjoy Scala B&W transparency film, use Rodinal
developer for infrared B&W films, and Solarol developer for
B&W solarization. I enjoy using Luminos RCR Art paper for
handtinting B&W images. Filters run the gamut including Red
#25 and Infrared #87C filters. The filter used most often is the
	Polarizer.

- - Format (35mm/medium format/large format): Mostly 35mm. Recently
purchased a 4x5 and am still learning how to use it.

- - Other strange hobbies: Although I do not consider them strange, I
enjoy web page designing, travel, hiking, natural medicine,
	and aromatherapy.

- - How did you find out about this list: Search engine - searching for
	information on IR photography.

- - In case you already have your own IR-Gallery on the web, please
state the URL/address: (I will then also add your site to the overview
of
IR-Galleries on my homepage!....think of the fame you can get....:-))

- - Expand on anything photographic you like: I am intrigued by the
process of Polaroid manipulation and transfers and hope to
be exploring these in the near future. I have been lurking on
this mailing list for the past couple of weeks and am pleased
with the wealth of knowledge and the generosity of its
	members.
