It does not need to be loaded in the dark, as it contains an antihalation
layer. It has a greater range than SFX200, which is not an infrared film, but
an extended-red film.

If they are only four months old I don't think you'll encounter any problems.
Freezing the film will allow you to keep it longer. I am still using frozen
Konica IR that expired in Feb. 1993.

Best, of course, is to do your own testing, as you will receive a wide range of
opinions here. The variations concern the equipment we use, development
techniques, the affects we are trying to achieve, etc.

You can go to my website to see the results I have obtained. With my equipment,
I meter through a #25 filter at EI 8. I then place that filter over my lens and
shoot at the metered speed. I develop with Rodinal. I should emphasize that
this is what I do when shooting it in the 120 size.

When I did this with the 35mm version, I ended up with overexposed film. Either
I goofed, my equipment was different (of course it was, but I mean that that may
have been a major part of the variation), or the film is different (or any
combination thereof). As I seldom shoot the 35mm variety, it will be a while
before I look into this (the 35mm version really doesn't fit any niche for me).
