Travel in Ireland/London (slight off topic)

I will be in Ireland from August 8th to the 31st, with (at least) a few days
of that in London.  Can anyone recomend galleries or exhibits, workshops etc.
within that time frame? Galleries of photo, alt. photo,  Impresionistic,
Renaissance, Baroque and Flemish art, illuminated manuscripts...  even any
favorite cafes, resturaunts, stores or parks...  I know Ireland much better
then I do London.  The time spent in Lonodn can be arranged around any special
events.
