I think the Fireworks image is very dramatic - maybe a little frightening
too. My guess is that the dome is plain ole lens flare. If you find the
center of the arc's radius, it seems to be the brightest part of the rocket's
tail flame. (Maybe a burst when off as the rocket was traveling upward)
If you shoot directly at the sun, I'll bet you would get a similiar
flare. I think the image is very successful.
