I'll be damned.  You're right.  I thought I had to take that entire assembly off and
clip the rollfilm back in with those slide bars.  Thats what I was shown by the guy I
bought the camera from.  Is there a danger of cracking the glass?

Thanks!  Of course, if I'd known that, I probably wouldn't have built my
Shack-O-Matic. ;-)
