I tend to agree -- for the most part. For the type of shooting I do (HIE,
#87C) I have almost never moved from a fixed setting of f11 @ 1/30 or 1/15
(I like dense negatives and use Rodinal 1+50). There are, however, times
when I would like to be more precise, such as in complex shadows, or when
shooting the EIA film. That stuff's too expensive to do much bracketing!
