I've heard that some of the rather older tanks and/or maybe
cheapo ones use an inferior plastic. However, I have also heard
that it's difficult to find more recent ones that are bad in this
respect. I generally play it safe & do my film development at
night, when that IR producing sun has no chance of shooting an
odd ray or two through my blackout system in my rudimentary
darkroom ;^) Never had any problem w/ the flourescents in the
bathroom where I do the stuff after loading the tank in the dark.
