RE: Kodak HIE film in a 120 format?

I grilled a customer rep. in Rochester once about 120 HIE. He said it wasn't
available anywhere because they couldn't make the edges of the roll
light-tight. Of course, I argued, they make 35mm HIE, and its canister
wasn't light tight either. I think it's more an issue of sales. Kodak makes
what sells in large volume or for high prices. And even if the stuff was
available in Europe, I don't think Rochester would admit it. They don't
usually acknowledge non-U.S. market items - probably because they don't want
to encourage gray marketeering.

If anyone in Europe can find the stuff, I'd gladly pay a premium to get it
sent to me. My TLR would be perfect for IR photography (#87C over the taking
lens, focus and compose through the viewing lens, and voila!)
