Why would you want to split them apart?? If you've got 70mm film and reel,
you're set. If you strip down the 70mm to 120/220 width, you can use a
120/220 reel. If you're concerned about length, Jobo makes long-roll
setups for both 120/220 and 70mm.

True, used is cheaper and I have a couple... but those two and all the
others I've seen typically have bad felt that leaves smudges on the film.
If I'm going to spend $200 on the film, go to the hassle of getting the
larger format processed (not to mention the other higher expense of
medium-format), loading it myself, all for the idea that the larger
negative will produce higher quality prints, I'm not going to quibble about
buying a few $30 new cartridges now and again.
Cheers,
D.
